HOW TO PLAY
Giant Tic-Tac-Toe, also known as Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe, is a game played on a 3x3 grid of smaller tic-tac-toe boards. The goal is to win three of the larger squares in a row. Players take turns making moves in the smaller boards, and the location of their move determines which board their opponent must play in next.
Rules:
1. Setup:
The game is played on a 3x3 grid, with each cell containing another 3x3 tic-tac-toe board.
2. Turns:
Players take turns, with the first player (usually X) choosing any empty cell in any of the nine smaller boards.
3. Forcing Moves:
The cell chosen by a player determines which smaller board the next player must play in. For example, if the first player chooses the top-right cell in their first move, the second player must play their next move in the top-right smaller board.
4. Winning Small Boards:
When a player gets three in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) in a small board, they win that small board. Their symbol (X or O) is then placed on the corresponding cell in the larger board.
5. Sending to Won Boards:
If a player is sent to a small board that has already been won by either player, they can choose any other available cell in any of the remaining boards.
6. Winning the Game:
The first player to win three of the larger squares in a row on the main board wins the game.
7. Ties:
If all cells in a small board are filled without a winner, it's considered a draw for that board, and no player can claim it.
8. No More Moves:
The game ends when a player wins three in a row on the main board or when there are no legal moves left.
