HOW TO PLAY
Putterball, also known as Golf Pong, is a game similar to beer pong, but played with golf putters and balls, and cups instead of cups. The objective is to sink all six cups on the opposing team's board before they sink all of yours. Once a team sinks all six cups, the other team gets a chance at redemption. If they succeed, the game goes into overtime.
The rules:
Setup:
Two teams of two players each are needed.
The PutterBall board is set up with six cups on each side.
Each team stands at opposite ends of the board.
Teams alternate turns putting the ball towards the opponent's cups.
Gameplay:
Each player gets one putt per turn.
Players can putt from a maximum of one foot in front of their team's cups.
When a cup is sunk, it is covered with a green hole cover to remove it from play.
The first team to sink all six cups on the opposing side wins the round.
Redemption:
After one team sinks all six cups, the other team gets a chance to redeem themselves.
Each player on the opposing team gets one putt per turn until they miss.
If they sink all the remaining cups, the game goes into overtime.
Overtime:
If both teams sink all six cups, the game goes into overtime.
Only the back three cups on each side are used in overtime.
The first team to sink all three back cups wins the game in overtime.
There is no redemption or rebuttal in overtime.
Additional Rules (Optional):
Teams can add optional rules from beer pong, such as "death cup" or "naked lap".
