HOW TO PLAY

Ladder toss, also known as ladder ball or ladder golf, involves throwing bolas (pairs of golf balls connected by a string) at a ladder-shaped target to score points. Players take turns tossing their bolas, aiming to wrap them around the rungs. The game is typically played to 21 points, with various scoring methods for different rung levels.

Basic Rules:

Setup: Two ladders are placed a set distance apart (e.g., 15 feet). Each player or team is given three bolas of their color.

Toss: Players stand at a designated toss line (usually 15 feet from the ladder) and take turns throwing their bolas.

Scoring: Bolas that wrap around a rung score points.
Different rungs typically have different point values (e.g., top rung = 3 points, middle = 2 points, bottom = 1 point).
Players can knock off opponents' bolas during their turn.
Only bolas remaining on the rungs at the end of a round are counted.

Bonus Points: Some variations offer bonus points for landing all bolas on the same rung or one on each rung.

Winning: The first player or team to reach 21 points (or a set number of points) wins the game, often with a two-point lead required.

Cancellation Scoring: In some versions, points are canceled out if opponents land bolas on the same rung, leaving only one player to score in a round.

Bust: If a player goes over the target score (e.g., 21) in a round, their points for that round may be discarded.
